OUR FOUNDER

Meet Dr. Emily Thometz

Dr. Emily Thometz was born and raised in Minnesota, where she became actively involved with 4-H, FFA, and showing horses. Her love of the West drew her to Colorado State University, where she earned Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science and Agricultural Business in 2012. In the spring of 2011, she completed a six-month internship in Kentucky at Hagyard Equine Medical Center, focusing on neonatal intensive care. She returned to Minnesota to attend the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, earning her DVM in 2016. She completed an internship at Arizona Equine, where she worked closely with a board specialist before moving to Texas in 2017. She has an off-the-track thoroughbred horse, and she loves riding, running, and skiing in her free time. Her veterinary interests include sports medicine
and surgery.

I’m currently in the veterinary technician position. My hobbies include baking and knitting. You’ve probably talked to me on the phone, but sometimes I escape the office and go on farm calls.

I have been in veterinary medicine for 15+ years. I grew up riding reining horses and was part of a Mexican drill team!

I am a licensed veterinary technician.

Hello, my name is Hancock.

I work hard as a veterinary technician assistant. I am an Australian Cattle Dog but I think of myself as more of an American Equine Dog. My hobbies include finding jolly balls at all the farms we visit.
